UNILORIN Resumption Date for 2017/2018 Session Announced

The University of Ilorin Resumption Date For 2017/18 Session has been announced. See Unilorin resumption date for freshers 2017/2018 below;

The management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the resumption date for freshers for 2017/2018 Academic Session.

Freshers/Newly admitted students are expected to be on campus on or before Saturday, 6th January 2018. 

While Lectures is expected to commence for all Freshers on Monday the 8th of January 2018.

WAEC Extends Registration Deadline For Private Candidates (SEE HERE)

Deadline For Registration of WAEC Jan/Feb Private Candidates Extended

O’levels Examination Governing Body, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has now extended the deadline for the registration of its first series of Jan/Feb WASSCE Private Examinations until January 12, 2018.

This was announced today through the council’s official Twitter handle, @waecnigeria

The registration for the examination, which had commenced since October 9th of this year, was initially slated to be closed on Friday, December 29, 2017.

@waecnigeria tweeted on Thursday: “This is to inform interested candidates and the general public that the closing date of registration for the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2018-First Series has been extended to Friday, January 12, 2018, by 12noon.” 

According to the council’s directive, intending candidates can obtain their registration pins on www.waeconline.org.ng

WAEC had announced earlier in the year that it would now run two series of the WASSCE for private candidates starting from 2018.

The first would be between January and February and the second between August and October.

Intending candidates are to pay a registration fee of N13,950 and a commission of N500 to banks and accredited agents.
